OUR STORY
Scotair Balloons made history in 1992 as Scotland’s first passenger ride operator. Founded by Graeme Houston, the journey began serendipitously in the late 1980s when Graeme, working for Loganair at Glasgow Airport, had the life-changing opportunity to pilot G-BOBR, Loganair’s iconic advertising balloon.
In 1991, Graeme left Loganair to fly with Adventures Aloft in Skipton, Yorkshire before establishing Scotair Balloons on Valentines day 1992. Initially focused on passenger rides, the company shifted its focus at the turn of the century to specialise in advertising balloons, partnering with some of the country’s most recognised brands.
In 2011, Scotair Balloons expanded globally, undertaking flying contracts in Tanzania, Turkey, Canada, and Myanmar.
Today, Scotair Balloons remains a proudly family-run business, with over three decades of experience. As we enter the new year, we’re embracing new branding, new pilots, and exciting opportunities ahead.
From the skies of Scotland to destinations worldwide, Scotair Balloons is dedicated to making your brand soar to new heights.
