I was lucky enough to fly with Graeme and Scotair recently and had a wonderful morning. He was a first class pilot throughout the flight and I was surprised just how much control of the balloon he had.

Scotair Balloons are very proud to help Schools with projects to educate and promote an understanding of the first aircraft that man took to the skies in. We have tried encompass many aspects which can help Primary School and Secondary School pupils with many subjects in a fun, creative and hands on way. This could be from simple colouring in of balloon designs, mathematical calculations, making a model balloon and scientific experiments.

Primary School Visit

Following our visit the children created their own ‘hot air balloon’ experiment with tissue paper and mini candles. Our sponsors got to engage with the school and the children too by supplying milk for the pupils. Beautiful artwork featuring Hot Air Balloons was also displayed around the school. Every class from P1 - P7 was involved in some way.
