




Based in South Lanarkshire, Scotair are Scotland’s longest established professional Hot Air Balloon and Airship Operator, Certificated by the Civil Aviation Authority in 1992. Since the first flight in April 1992, Scotair have flown approximately 8000 passengers in Scotland and have operated Hot Air Balloons throughout the UK, Europe and in the USA.
Our flights leave from various locations in the area including Monteith House near Lanark, the Shieldhill Castle Hotel near Biggar, Biggar Show Ground Glenholm Wildlife Project, the Broomlee Centre in West Linton, Crossford and Peebles. The area has an abundance of wild life including Deer, Fox, Badgers, Hare, Buzzards and Pink Footed Geese.

Currently Scotair operate two Hot Air Balloons for Re/Max-Scotland. Re/Max have worldwide a fleet of well over 100 balloons. In 2007 we started flying two new balloons for Robert Wiseman Dairies, including one for Freshnlo. Scotair are also the only company in the UK to have and operate a Thermal Airship.
On top of all that Scotair can also provide Cold Air Inflatables. These are huge non flying reproductions of products that can be displayed at outdoor and indoor events.
