If you have not booked 8 flights within the main flying season then you will require an extension in order to carry on booking Flights. Your extension will be valid only within the flying season and must be purchased within 7 days either side of the expiry date. At the bottom of the booking form you will need to insert your Scotair Voucher Number which is on your booking form and on the inside of your Voucher Booklet. One per voucher.

This Voucher is for one person on one of our scheduled flights.The flight duration is approximately 1 hour long. The passenger will also receive a Flight Certificate.The flights are from any one of our sites in the Upper Clyde Valley Area, Peebles or West Linton Please see Locations TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Why not pay a deposit for your flight and the balance when you have flown. Your deposit is valid for 12 months from date of issue and is non refundable and non extendable. The deposit will cover any scheduled flight. Upon completion of your flight you will be charged your balance which must be paid in cash on the day. We do not accept Credit Cards or Cheques on the launch field. All other Terms and Conditions apply.

This is a flight in our small Balloon with space for up to six Passengers (dependant on weights and temperatures). Your Flight will be approximately 1 hour long with your Champagne served during the flight where possible. On landing you will receive your flight Certificate. We can fly from your area on some occasions, for an additional fee, and also depending on National Air Traffic permissions. The cost of a Private Flight starts from as little as £550 for two passengers up to £960 for 6. A non-refundable, non extendable deposit of £200 is charged and Valid for 12 months with the balance payable on the day.

Advice on Booking a Balloon Flight

We, at Scotair Balloons, LOVE ballooning and we would obviously like to sell you a flight in one of our balloons, so you too can enjoy the experience. We must, however, point out a few things about ballooning before you dive in and make a booking to ensure that this is for you.

1) Do you or the person who will be flying, have the patience to wait for a flight as you can (and will) get cancelled due to weather?
2) Will you or the person who will be flying, be able to make the required number of attempts to keep the voucher valid after the expiry date, should you get cancelled?

3) Do you or the person who will be flying, mind travelling to the launch site only to find the conditions are unsuitable or safe to fly and be cancelled on the field?

This may sound like we do not want your business but actually we really do. BUT we want it to be right, we want it to be safe and we want you to enjoy the whole experience. Other operators may or may not tell you any of the above but we feel it is important that you are aware BEFORE you book your flight.
